Deion Gill awarded the 2017 Curtis Mayfield Scholarship Award

From early childhood, music was always the main priority for Deion Gill. At the age of 10, Deion started producing and writing in his home for the simple joy of hearing his own creations played back to him.

Later on in high school, he would spend countless hours on the computer at home making music at every waking moment. His career was long from being an everyday reality, but it was already a priority over most of everything in his life.

At 15-years-old, Deion moved to Los Angeles in hopes to expand his career and perfect his craft.

He later on, over the course of 6 years, wrote, produced and recorded hundreds of songs for himself and many artists alike.

In 2013, he went on national tours with Lil Wayne and Austin Mahone, traveling the entire country spreading his music day-by-day at only 17 years old.

Today, at 21, he is gearing up to release his debut self-produced project “The Winterbabe Playlist.” With ambitions that reach far beyond your average artist, Deion is a creative force that will one day be recognized.
